FAQs
Everything you might want to know before your photography session.
From booking and locations to outfits, photo delivery, and what happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate — here are answers to some of the questions I’m asked most often.
Booking & Sessions
Start by getting in touch through my booking or contact page. Let me know what type of session you’re interested in, your preferred date, and any ideas you already have. I’ll confirm availability, and we can work out the details from there.
For regular portrait, family, and couple sessions, booking 2–3 weeks in advance is recommended, especially for weekends. Events and sessions during busy seasons are best reserved 1–2 months in advance.
I’m based in Bradford, Ontario, and photograph sessions throughout the surrounding GTA, including Newmarket, Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Vaughan, and Innisfil. If you have another location in mind, just ask.
It depends on the type of session you choose. I offer shorter Micro and Mini sessions, as well as Full sessions of one hour or longer. Visit the pricing page for details.
Before Your Photoshoot
Choose clothing that feels comfortable and looks like you. Coordinating colours usually photograph better than everyone wearing identical outfits. If you’re unsure about your choices, you’re welcome to send me photos of your outfit options before the session.
Yes, when guidance is needed. However, I also want your photographs to feel natural. Walking, talking, playing with your children, and interacting with each other often creates much more genuine photographs than trying to hold a perfect pose.
That’s completely normal. Children don’t need to sit still and smile at the camera for an entire session. Some of the best photographs happen while they’re exploring, playing, laughing, or simply being themselves.
Absolutely. Props can work especially well for individual portraits, milestone sessions, and photographs with sentimental items. Keep them meaningful and relatively simple so they complement the photographs rather than becoming the focus.
Weather & Locations
Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent. If conditions aren’t suitable for photography, we’ll discuss the available options, which may include changing the time, choosing another location, or rescheduling.
Yes. I photograph throughout Bradford and the surrounding areas and can suggest locations based on the season, type of session, your convenience, and the look you want.
Of course. If there’s a park, neighbourhood, home, or another place that means something to you, let me know. We can discuss whether it will work well for your session.
For at-home sessions, I can bring a white backdrop and professional studio lighting upon request to help create classic, timeless photographs. I do not provide props.
Your Photos
The number depends on your session package. Micro and Mini sessions include a specified number of edited photographs, while Full sessions include all edited images from your session. Please visit the pricing page for details about each package.
Yes. Your final photographs are individually edited for colour, exposure, contrast, and overall consistency with my photography style. Detailed or extensive retouching is available for an additional fee.
Standard delivery is approximately 10 business days per hour of photography coverage. Delivery time may vary depending on the session and season.
Your finished photographs are delivered through a private Google Drive link, where you can view and download your images.
